Round 8
Official statement from the winners:
Khadgar: Trust in the Dwarven language. This is the strongest weapon of The Guild of Dwarfs!!
We began this round as many veterans scattered about the map of Ysabel. We were gathered together by two men with a vision of Victory, Tomiris and Forestscooter. Some came to the call quickly, others (like true Dwarfs) more slowly. Many were friends known from the beginning, others were enemies of old. Differences were set aside and our alliance was forged with a strength akin to the War hammer and stone. The great army builder Makattack joined our ranks along with the greatest strategist in Ysabel history, Razvan who came back to us with a renewed strength and vision for the game! Our most loyal and respected Dutch nurse, Miss Tazz was there to ground us and remind us that we were here to have FUN! Raduku23 showed our enemies what relentless means and Snowk1d added to our lot with an astounding number of castles and huge armies. Voicu, Sonics, JohnDrake, David, Gangstar and hmmm all brought the knowledge and depth needed to have a successful alliance! Ovyasi came to us late in the round, but with a huge impact in store!
Our journey was fraught with many battles and a war with The Crusade. These only proved to make us stronger and bound us together! The day finally came when the final targets were announced! Many agreements had been made that should have made the road to rescuing the Princess smooth. But alas, it was not meant to be. Three alliances that had made peaceful agreements with the Guild decided to block our attempt at victory! Castles were stolen from several key Guild members after final attacks had been launched thereby nullifying those attacks! Fortunately we still had allies hidden away that were able to help us win the day! Thanks go to Sky/Claudia, Talion, The Evilone and Spartans along with Darkknight for last minute crucial attacks! Last but definitely not least special thanks to Ovyasi for saving the day!! The Princess Ysabel was freed and peace and happiness restored to the kingdom!!
